Spanish Artists-in-Residence

The Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C. presents its artistic residencies program, Spanish Artists-In-Residence, a transversal and multidisciplinary program that seeks to strengthen the internationalization of Spanish artists and creators in the United States, promoting professional opportunities with prestigious institutions in the country.

The artistic residences are designed in collaboration with partner institutions to create ad hoc programs that are in line with the host institution’s needs and the objectives pursued by the Cultural Office. Artistic residencies programs are being developed in the disciplines of performing arts, music, literature and visual arts.

The objectives are:

  1. supporting emerging artists and creators;
