XV Fuego Flamenco Festival
Gala Hispanic Theatre and the 15th International Fuego Flamenco Festival bring leading Flamenco artists from Spain and the United States to Washington audiences.
Fuego Flamenco XV, with honorary producers Lynne and Joseph Horning, is an exploration of traditional Flamenco and its breadth and diversity through contemporary expressions.
This year’s program includes Edwin Aparicio and Aleksey Kulikov’s Entresueño featuring the Flamenco Aparicio Dance Company and several international guest artists, a work that premiered at GALA in 2006, and Raíz de 4 by Rafael Peral and María Adame, a showcase of Spanish dancing, singing, guitar and percussion.
