This stand-out artist represents the current Spanish pop with southern and Andalucian roots.
Pablo Alborán, born in Málaga (Spain) in 1989, is a highly talented singer and composer. His writing skills are unique in the Spanish pop scene and can genuinely move a global audience drawn by his rare sensitivity, refinement and delicacy.
With En Acustico, Spanish singer Pablo Alborán stayed 17 weeks at Number 1 on the Spanish charts with seven Platinum Discs. He was the best-selling artist in Spain in 2011. He received three nominations to the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards (Best New Artist, Best Male Pop Vocal Album, and Best Song) and he won the 40 Principales Best New Artist Award.
In November of 2012 he published his next single and album, both entitled Tanto. Tanto was an even bigger hit than his first, charting at the top in his native country for many weeks and selling nearly twice as many copies.
Two further singles, El Beso and Quién, hit number one in Spain. Alborán’s third album, Terral, followed in 2014. Entirely written by Alborán, with co-production by Alborán and Eric Rosse in Los Angeles, Terral became his first number one on the U.S. Latin charts. The singles Por Fin and Pasos de Cero both reached the top of the charts in Spain, making Alborán one of the country’s most popular artists.
