Noche Iberoamericana 2019
The Ibero-American Cultural Attachés Association (AACIA) presents the fifth edition of “Noche Iberoamericana,” a night of food, music, art, and more.
Come taste Brasilian, Salvadorian and Guatemalan delicacies as well as Spanish paella while sipping on Chilean and Uruguayan wine, and our traditional Peruvian pisco sour, and a Panamanian Ron drink. Finish it all off with Portuguese Porto, natillas and alfajores.
The evening won’t be complete without a live Argentinean traditional and contemporary tango performance, Mexican rancheras songs and the chance to show-off your best Latin American moves. The Mexican Cultural Institute’s exhibit, Reconciling City and Nature, will also be on display. Plus, raffles will include two round trip tickets to Costa Rica, and Ecuador will wrap up the night with a farewell souvenir.
Come join us in a night full of flavors, sounds and atmosphere from Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
About AACIA
The Iberoamerican Cultural Attachés Association (AACIA) is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) association with the mission to promote, disseminate and preserve the heritage, culture and art of IberoAmerica in the Washington, D.C. area, working actively in building bridges between Latin America, Portugal and Spain, with the United States. This mission is achieved through cultural activities that bring together a varied audience and outreach media.
The cultural activities the Association has organized showcase the cultural values of IberoAmerica and the immense diversity that depicts the essence of our countries. In doing so, the events with most relevance have been the IberoAmerican Film Showcase in D.C., the annual fundraiser event, and the IberoAmerican art exhibition as part of FotoweekDC.
