Bebe in concert in New York

The Spanish singer presents “Cambio de piel”, a reunion with the creative, intimate, sensual and sincere Bebe.

Bebe reinvents herself in her fourth album, recovering her essence. With Carlos Jean, producer of her first album Pafuera telarañas, she has created a very personal work, displaying a determined desire to take her career to new heights.

On June 25, 2006, Bebe announced that her album Pafuera Telarañas would be her debut, and her farewell as well, because she was retiring from the stage for a while. She said that even if there is pressure to build up a discography, “I am not thinking of making another CD for quite some time. For a little more than two years I’ve promoted the same CD and I’m still not done.”
The six years that have passed since the publication of Bebe’s second album have given a new perspective to her work. Over these years, the artist and producer shaped the compositions and arrangements, allowing them to evolve and grow.

The songs of Cambio de piel, speak of experiences, lyrics that describe every moment of the artist’s life, feelings, relationships with people close to her, loves, dislikes and her daughter: “It is very therapeutic for me to be able to do that, to express myself in this way is healing, but to expel all those feelings is also very beautiful. Taking distance from the songs also serves me to reflect. Writing, even if only for oneself, is very healthy at an intimate level. And, in my case, the moods have a great influence when writing the lyrics,” she said.
