Tomás Lozano performs Eternal Juan Ramón Jiménez

A musical journey through the life of a Spanish poet.

Vocalist, instrumentalist and composer, Tomás Lozano, originally from Spain, conjoins his destiny with Juan Ramón Jiménez, Spanish poet and 1956 Nobel Prize laureate in Literature.

From this timeless bond emerges a musical journey through Jimeniano pantheistic landscapes. Lozano caresses the transcendent, in what is his latest album titled, Eternal Juan Ramón Jiménez. The masterfully achieved nearly twenty pieces —both moving and intimate— weave Lozano’s inspiring voice and guitar with a viola da gamba and a flamenco guitar. The effect is manifestly unique and magical.

Eternal Juan Ramón Jiménez is a musically innovative program that marries classical, baroque and modern sounds by way of voice, Spanish guitar and viola da gamba, with a Southern Spanish flavor.
