XIV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism: VII Diploma Project Exhibition
The VII Diploma Project Exhibition presents the 20 best end-of-course projects of graduating students from all of the Schools of Architecture in Spain.
The award-winning entries constitute an overview of design strategies representative of final projects concluded in Spanish Schools of Architecture during the 2016-2017 academic year.
The designs stand out for the way they intervene in the city, in their cultural heritage, and in the manifestation of several programs in the landscape. The projects are recognized not only for their spatial, social, cultural, technical, and functional values, but it is also their urban commitment, steeped in the principles of social cohesion and environmental efficiency, that distinguishes them.
This presentation complements an exhibition of award-winning Spanish Architecture from the BEAU, to be held at the Cervantes Institute of New York from October 30 to December 1, 2019. Under the motto “Más habitar, más humanizar” (“more living, more human”), the exhibition highlights the best projects by Spanish Architects, both in Spain or in foreign countries.
