Voice of Ibiza in concert

A 60th birthday tribute to leading composer Miguel Ángel Roig-Francolí by pianist Adam Kent and friends.

Pianist Adam Kent, long noted for his expertise in the Spanish repertory and a recipient of Spain’s Medalla al Merito Civil, teams up with soprano Abigail Santos Villalobos and violinist Airi Yoshioka and cellist Sibylle Johner of the Damocles Trio in works tracing the composer’s evolution over a 34-year period.

This birthday celebration program will include solo piano, chamber and vocal works of the distinguished composer and music theorist, including Songs of the Infinite, Cinco Canciones con los Ojos Cerrados and Songs of Light and Darkness.
