New York debut of Impetus Madrid Baroque Ensemble

Impetus Madrid Baroque Ensemble debuts in the USA at the New York Frick Collection, with selected works by Royer, Couperin, Marais/Corelli and Rameau.
A 2016 nominee at the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA), this Spanish ensemble is one of the most well-known in Spain, Europe, and even in Brazil.
This concert is directed by the Madrid Royal Conservatory Professor Dr. Yago Mahúgo –also known as “Harpsichord’s Sun King” by music critics and journalists– and features violinist Pablo Gutiérrez, guest concertmaster of The Musiciens du Louvre (Mark Minkowsky’s orchestra) and Jordi Comellas, international viola da gamba player.
