La Feria NYC

Flamenco Vivo and Arts Flamenco team up to bring you all the excitement of La Feria de Sevilla to New York City.

La Feria NYC is an evening of food, sangria, sevillanas, live music by Flamenco Latino and vendors who will be selling costumes, flamenco accessories, artwork and more.

To create the “fair environment” there will be:

• Spanish Market: The event offers the opportunity to companies that offer Spanish products (costumes, accessories, works of art, food, drinks…) to have a space in which to promote, display, sell or offer their products (samples).
• Food: Gastronomy is one of the highlights of the Fair with unique textures, flavors and smells so that attendees can taste some of the most typical dishes.
• Live performances: Music and dance are the axis of the fair and the leitmotif of the two organizations promoting the event. The attendees will enjoy live music, highlighting the professional flamenco show and the own repertoire of the booths by Flamenco Latino, enlivening and encouraging the participation of attendees.
• Sevillanas and costume contests: One of the most awaited moments of the fair in Spain is the when different couples are positioned face to face to start dancing sevillanas. The chords of the guitar sound accompanied by the rhythm of a few claps. The dance begins. Every movement is enhanced by the elegance of the flamenco dress. With the purpose of rewarding those who have dedicated time to their staging, there will be competitions of sevillanas and the best costume of flamenco (modality child / adult).
