Inspired by Federico García Lorca, this show features various traditional types of Spanish dance, poems and songs by the great poet and by Padre Soler, Manuel De Falla and Isaac Albéniz.

  • Alfonso Cid: voice and percussion.
  • Hayk Arsenyan: piano.
  • Elizabeth Chidester: soprano, voice.

The universe of Federico García Lorca will guide this performance through Spanish dances, poems and songs from the traditional Spanish songbook. There will be pieces by Padre Soler, Manuel De Falla and Isaac Albéniz.

This performance will display a variety of Spanish dances such as bolera escolar, stylized dance, flamenco and folk dance, and feature a large number of Spanish cultural elements such as the classic castanets, the popular castanets (pulgaretas), the flamenco fan (pericón), the manila shawl or the bata de cola.
