Federico García Lorca’s tragic drama delves into the struggle for freedom and expression in a rigid society. While honoring the original text of the Spanish poet and dramatist, Director Miguel Sahid blends tradition with innovation, adding flamenco elements like cante and cajón to complement the performances of an international cast.

Actor, director, and acting coach Miguel Sahid has more than 30 years of acting experience. He has spent over 15 years teaching and directed more than 500 theatrical productions in his career. He is also the author of the book The Power of the Actor, and you might have recently seen him on Netflix, as well as serving as the Acting Coach on Univision’s reality show Protagonistas de Novelas in the United States.
