Authentic Flamenco by the Royal Opera of Madrid in Los Angeles

The Royal Opera of Madrid, Spain’s major performing arts institution, presents “Authentic Flamenco,” a traditional Spanish flamenco show from award-winning dancer and choreographer Amador Rojas.

After its success in different cities from the USA to Brazil with over 22,000 attendees, Authentic Flamenco returns to the U.S. with Los Angeles as its first stop. On this international tour, the Royal Opera of Madrid presents a program featuring established Flamenco artists and young promises, thus confirming the institution’s commitment to the promotion and protection of the Flamenco legacy, in which its three disciplines (singing, guitar playing, and dancing) have equal prominence.

  • Ángeles Gabaldón (dancer)
  • Paco Iglesias (guitar)
  • Diego Amador (singer)
  • Tomasa Peña (singer)
  • Elena Mikhailova (violin)
  • Luis Amador (percussion)
