Berruguete Through the Lens: Photographs from a Barcelona Archive

The Meadows Museum reopens with an exhibition of early twentieth-century photographs of works by Alonso Berruguete.

Designed to parallel the major exhibition Alonso Berruguete: First Sculptor of Renaissance Spain, this installation features early twentieth-century photographs of works by Alonso Berruguete (c. 1488–1561) and his contemporaries from the Archivo Mas in the holdings of the Meadows Museum.

Used solely for study purposes since their acquisition in 2003, this is the first time selections from the archive have been exhibited publicly.
