Kotebel U.S. Tour at ProgDay 2014
The Symphonic Progressive Rock band Kotebel will play at ProgDay, the world’s longest running progressive rock festival.
With six albums released since 2000, including the highly acclaimed Omphalos (nominated for ProgAwards 2006’s Best Foreign Record) and Ouroboros (Winner of ProgAwards 2009’s Best Foreign Record), Kotebel is one of the main progressive acts in Spain and Latin America. Their latest album –Concerto for Piano and Electric Ensemble– won both the Jury and Pop Vox awards in the 12th edition of the Independent Music Awards, in the category of Instrumental Music.
Kotebel was the first band announced to commemorate the 20th Anniversary Edition of Festival ProgDay. The band has prepared a 90-minute set list, with material from several previous albums and a full rendition of their awarded Concerto for Piano and Electric Ensemble. The festival will host a total of 8 bands (4 bands each day).
