Tribute to Cervantes and Granados: Spanish Music by Duo Belcorde

A musical tribute to both Spanish celebrities in the forth centenary of the writer´s death and the centenary of the composer’s death.

The Spanish Duo Belcorde –Manuel Briega, violin, and Adrián Fernández, guitar– pays its particular tribute to Cervantes and Granados. The concert program consists of a selection of works and master pieces composed between the 17th and 20th centuries.

In recognition of Miguel de Cervantes, the duo performs Cervantes Suite from composer Gaspar Sanz. The rest of the works of the concert come from what is known as Spanish musical nationalism. The Duo Belcorde pays tribute to Enrique Granados with two of his Spanish dances: Oriental and Andalusian.
