Spanish Cinema Now + 2024 in Dallas

“Spanish Cinema Now +” is touring the US for the first time, starting at the Meadows Museum in Dallas after its debut in DC, to bring the best of recent Spanish cinema to wider audiences.

Spanish Cinema Now + presents a showcase of films that reflects the breadth of styles and talents at work in Spain today, including both established auteurs and emerging filmmakers from the international festival scene. After its spring presentation in Washington, DC, the Meadows Museum will bring these films to Texas this summer thanks to a partnership with the Embassy of Spain and Dallas Film.

On March 21 from 4 pm to 8 pm, The Meadows Museum hosts Celebrate Spain: Spanish Festival and Market, a free event to showcase the best of Spanish culture in Dallas.

The Human Voice

In celebration of Pride Month, the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C. presents Love & Revolution. At a time when homosexuality is a crime, Reme, a traditional mother moved by love for her son, a teenage aspiring artist, will become involved in the Andalusian LGTBI movement, paradoxically conceived within the Church.
