XX Fuego Flamenco Festival

Celebrating its 20th edition, “Fuego Flamenco Festival” showcases leading flamenco artists from Spain and the U.S. in an extended three-week festival.
Focusing on contemporary dance and traditional and innovative flamenco dance and music, this international festival brings dancers and musicians from around the globe to GALA’s stage.

Ser.Rana is a foreteller, an experience that transforms the art of movement and sets dance free. It is like the unceasing flow of a river that is inside you and transforms your body through Flamenco. The original music of the show and the minimalist esthetic of dance create a close connection between artist and audience, uncovering deep emotions.

A retrospective of works choreographed by Salvadoran artist Edwin Aparicio in honor of the 20-year celebration of the festival he co-founded.

In this intimate show, Marc and Ana, friends since their teenage years and university classmates, reminisce while enjoying the music that has shaped their lives since childhood and still resonates with them today. They are joined on their journey through Mediterranean music, with Flamenco at its core, by Cuban dancer Montserrat Martínez.
