XVIII Fuego Flamenco Festival

The 18th edition of “Fuego Flamenco Festival” brings together leading Flamenco artists from Spain and the U.S. in an expanded three-week festival.
This year’s edition of Fuego Flamenco Festival invites dancer Antonio Granjero and Entreflamenco, who will debut in Fuego Flamenco. The Festival also features the unique style of Flamenco Men, together with the Flamenco guitar of José Almarcha accompanied by dancer Lucía Ruibal.
Cerrando el círculo by Antonio Granjero + Entreflamenco

Antonio Granjero + Entreflamenco make their GALA debut in Fuego Flamenco. Led by Antonio Granjero, Cerrando el círculo showcases dancers Angel Muñoz and Estefanía Ramírez, singers Manuel Gago and Trini de la Isla, and guitarist Juan José Alba.
Flamenco Men by Flamenco Men Dance Co

- On Sunday, November 6 at 2 pm.
Flamenco Men features the stylistic range of four accomplished male Flamenco artists led by legendary DC artist and GALA’s Fuego Flamenco Festival curator Edwin Aparicio. The show features dancer Gabriel Matías, who won the 2021 Fuego Flamenco GALA Award at the prestigious Competition of Flamenco and Spanish Dance in Madrid.

Direct from Spain, experience José Almarcha’s masterful guitar playing in Alejandra, an intimate composition that pays tribute to his late mother. The daily newspaper El País called Almarcha a “great and lucid composer.” Almarcha is joined by dancer Lucía Ruibal.
