The historic Beaux-Arts mansion, once home to Spanish Ambassadors, welcomes visitors once again to explore its current exhibitions.
Enjoy the latest art installations at the Spanish Cultural Center in Washington, D.C., both inside and outside our walls. Discover the newest exhibition From Spain with Design – Essence featuring the work of some of the most awarded and renowned Spanish designers of our time.
Art installations currently on display:
Indoor Exhibits
- From Spain with Design – Essence. This exhibition showcases the best examples of Spanish design, featuring projects from various disciplines known for their quality, impact on both national and international markets, and exemplary collaboration between designers and companies, providing coherent and valuable solutions.
- ART X SCIENCE made in Spain 2025. The latest project by the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain connects art and science through collaborations between Spanish artists and scientists. In this inaugural edition, visual artist Elvira Amor and scientist Carmen Cobo explore the intersection of both fields in their work Benthos Unveiled.
- Not Your Regular Wall: Benthos Unveiled by Elvira Amor. The seventh edition of Not Your Regular Wall features an extended presentation of the new project ART x SCIENCE made in Spain and showcases the work of Spanish artist Elvira Amor, Benthos Unveiled.
Outdoor Exhibits
- DC.es: Outdoors showcases works by five Spanish artists on their perspectives of the world’s political capital on the outdoor fence of the Cultural Center.
- Around Blooming, Around Reforesting by Doa Oa, a work that creates a deep and empathetic connection with flowers and nature, promoting the appreciation of their beauty, awareness of plant diversity, and the historical relationship between humans and plants through pictorial interventions and reforestation projects.
- SPAINfographics design. To showcase individually the infographic designs of SPAINfographics, all the proposals are displayed monthly in the front garden of the Spanish Cultural Center.
- La Mujer del Alfeizar by Carmen Segovia. Spanish illustrator Carmen Segovia explores the idea of returning to the outside world in this third intervention on the windows of the Spanish Cultural Center.
