Spanish Muralist Muro at Pow Wow DC Festival

Spanish Muralist Muro participates at Pow Wow DC Mural Festival taking place at NoMa District.

POW! WOW! DC brings talented local, national, and international artists together in partnership with community members to enrich, beautify, and enliven NoMa. This year, 15 extraordinarily talented muralists from D.C., across the U.S., and around the world –including Spanish artist Muro– will create original masterpieces.

Over the course of one week, these artists will create 15 murals at a number of NoMa locations, such as the Metropolitan Branch Trail, the new AVA apartment building at 55 M Street NE, and the District of Columbia Housing Authority building at 1133 North Capitol Street NE.

On Saturday, May 20, NoMa District will host the opening celebration with vendors, live art, foods trucks and music, from 11 am to 5 pm.
