Little people, big dreams by Maria Isabel Sánchez Vergara

This series of children’s books created by María Isabel López Vergara celebrates the aspirations of both girls and boys who went on to change the course of humanity.

Born in Barcelona, Spain, María Isabel Sánchez Vegara is the creator of the Little People Big Dreams series of children’s books celebrating the aspirations of both girls and boys who went on to become icons of visionary leadership in the arts and humanities, math and sciences, and in the fight for equality and justice.

All of the people profiled in this series went on to affect and change the course of humanity, and all of them began life as a little child with a dream.Having a dream is universal to girls and boys and people of all ages, and the series is about encouraging every kind of dream one can have.

Books in the series include lavishly illustrated profiles of Josephine Baker, David Bowie, Mahatma Gandhi, Maria Montessori, Wilma Rudolph, and many more that go far beyond what their professional lives tell us and speak to their lasting impact on humanity.

Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments and good conversation will be served.
