Kotebel U.S. Tour in Washington, D.C.

Symphonic Progressive Rock band Kotebel will play this summer for the first time at Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C.

With six albums released since 2000, including the highly acclaimed Omphalos (nominated for ProgAwards 2006’s Best Foreign Record) and Ouroboros (Winner of ProgAwards 2009’s Best Foreign Record), Kotebel is one of the main progressive acts in Spain and Latin America. Their latest album –Concerto for Piano and Electric Ensemble– won both the Jury and Pop Vox awards in the 12th edition of the Independent Music Awards, in the category of Instrumental Music.

This will mark Kotebel’s first appearance in Washington, D.C. This special concert will allow the Piano Concerto to be performed in its classical setting, using a Grand Piano. The concert will be streamed live, and recorded for future release.
