As part of IBERIAN SUITE: global arts remix festival, the Kennedy Center presents free music performances at Millennium Stage.

Sílvia Pérez Cruz and Raül Fernández Miró

  • On March 9.
  • Two of Spain’s rising musical talents –collaborators for nearly a decade– present a unique blend of jazz, flamenco, and fado music. Vocalist Sílvia Pérez Cruz sings in seven languages; her first album went gold in Spain. Guitarist Raül Fernández Miró learned flamenco alongside Kiko Veneno.

Romero Lubambo (Brazil) and Hernán Romero (Spain)

  • On March 10.
  • This dynamic musical pairing features two acclaimed classical guitarists performing a blend of styles. Lubambo has performed and recorded with the likes of Yo-Yo Ma, Harry Belafonte, and Diana Krall. Romero has hit the Top 10 World Music Billboard charts, and his music has been featured in major motion pictures.

Leticia Moreno with Christoph Eschenbach (Spain/Germany)

  • On March 14.
  • Violinist Leticia Moreno will be joined by NSO Music Director and pianist Christoph Eschenbach for a duo recital of music from the Iberian peninsula. Leticia Muñoz Moreno has earned praise for her “captivating vehemence, virtuosity, and brilliancy.” (El País).
