Hilary Hahn plays Antón García Abril

Grammy-winning violinist premieres a set of new works by Spanish composer Antón García Abril.

There’s no violinist quite like Hilary Hahn. Among her peers, both violinists and others, she is widely known as one of the most intense, focused artists of her generation. She is also one of the most adventurous, as proven by her multi-year, Grammy-winning commissioning project In 27 Pieces: the Hilary Hahn Encores.

Over the course of two seasons, she will premiere a set of new works by Spanish composer Antón García Abril, inspired by his participation in the Encores project and commissioned by Washington Performing Arts.
