Flamenco Vivo: Poema de Andalucia

New York-based Flamenco Vivo is a premier flamenco and Spanish dance company celebrating its 32nd season.

This brilliantly colored show is a journey through the cultures and traditions of the Andalusian provinces of Spain —the cradle of flamenco— and a fascinating look at just how varied and stylized this art form can be.

In songs and dances that celebrate the richly varied traditions, festivals, and rituals of daily life in southern Spain, Flamenco Vivo transports audiences. Known for authentic and powerful performances, Flamenco Vivo is also devoted to community outreach and innovative arts education programs.

Dig deeper! Learn the basics of flamenco movement, dance, and song while you sip sangria and enjoy tasty tapas in the Flamenco Workshop with Flamenco Vivo on March 3.
