DOT by Maduixa Teatre

Maduixa Teatre combines dance, theatre, music and technology in DOT, a story of magic and imagination that demonstrates the true power of color.

As part of the 2016 Kids Euro Festival, Maduixa Teatre brings us the tale of the adventures of Laia and Dot through the colorful world of American artist Sol Lewitt. Laia erases every stain that appears on her giant white wall until the arrival of Dot, who takes her on a journey filled with music and color. Together, Laia and Dot transform the white wall into a space of color and shapes, discovering that anything is possible.

In addition to public performances in New York and Washington, D.C., Maduixa Teatre will hold theatre and dance workshops at the Library of Congress and the Kennedy Center for Washington, D.C. area bilingual schools.

Check out and attend other Kids Euro Festival events, including a screening of the Spanish animated film La tropa de trapo en la selva del arcoiris (The Happets in the Rainbow Forest, 2014) on November 5.
