3rd edition of Authentic Flamenco by the Royal Opera of Madrid in Tampa
The Royal Opera of Madrid, Spain’s major performing arts institution, returns with the 3rd edition of “Authentic Flamenco,” a traditional Spanish flamenco show from award-winning dancer and choreographer Amador Rojas.
After successful shows in various cities across North and South America, Authentic Flamenco is back for its third U.S. tour, stopping in ten cities nationwide. On this international tour, the Royal Opera of Madrid presents a program featuring established Flamenco artists and young promises, reaffirming the institution’s dedication to promoting and safeguarding the Flamenco legacy, emphasizing its three core disciplines of singing, guitar playing, and dancing.

Amador Rojas
A Flamenco dancer from Seville, awarded with the Artist Revelation Award at La Bienal de Sevilla and The Golden Lyre Musicianship Award, Amador Rojas has had the opportunity to learn from and share a stage with some of the most relevant artists and flamenco families in the world. Now he’s performing on international tablaos in the Authentic Flamenco tour along with other renowned artists such as Ángeles Gabaldón, Paco iglesias and Diego Amador.
