Festival de la Palabra 2018
This year’s edition of the Festival de la Palabra pays tribute to the Puerto Rican diaspora during six days of dynamic participatory programs and a series of readings, lectures, film screenings and workshops to promote constant dialogue among international writers and readers.
Festival de la Palabra 2018 welcomes Esmeralda Santiago –one of the first Puerto Rican writers who moved to the U.S. and has written about Puerto Rico and her life away from home– along with over 50 writers from the Americas and Spain, including Alberto Torres Blandina, Carlos Pardo, Edjanga Jones, Elena Medel, José Manuel Fajardo, Ioana Gruia and Marta López Luaces.
All activities take place at Archivo General y Biblioteca Nacional de Puerto Rico, 500 Avenida Juan Ponce de León, San Juan, 00901, Puerto Rico; and Parque Luis Muñoz Rivera, Avenida Luis Muñoz Rivera, San Juan, 00901, Puerto Rico.
