'Festival de la palabra 2013'

This literature festival brings Puerto Rican and international writers and readers together to celebrate the power of words and their ability to transform culture.

The Festival of the Word (Festival de la palabra) brings readers and writers together in a series of readings, lectures, and workshops to promote the exchange of literature and ideas. In Puerto Rico’s Festival de la Palabra 2013, writers will read and discuss their works as they pertain to this year’s theme: the relationship between journalism and literature, and between fiction and reality.

Seven Spanish writers will participate in Festival de la Palabra 2013: Jacinto Antón, José Manuel Fajardo, Cristina Fernández Cubas, Eduardo Garrigues, Ricardo Menéndez Salmón, Clara Usón and Eugenia Rico.
