Cristina Lucas: Iluminaciones Profanas

The first solo exhibition in Puerto Rico and North America of selected works from Spanish visual artist Cristina Lucas.

Cristina Lucas is a Spanish visual artist of international relevance. Her body of work, at times associated with a feminist perspective, discusses historical, social and cultural issues with shrewd critical awareness, often taking advantage of the use of irony.

Her work, primarily in video, photography and digital animation, is at the same time provocative and creative. It additionally possesses the very valuable ability to communicate directly with the public.

Iluminaciones profanadas refers to the critical irreverence of her work towards the art establishment.
