Animales / Animals in San Juan

Master puppeteer Pablo Vergne playfully guides everyday objects into surprising shapes on stage.

There are 8.74 million species of animals on planet Earth — give or take 1.3 million species or so! In Animals, you’ll have the chance to meet many of them, as master puppeteer Pablo Vergne playfully guides everyday objects into the most surprising shapes. Hats and foam tubes become beasts, letters of the alphabet, and more.

In a parade of color, rhythm, and movement, Animals wordlessly presents countless citizens of the animal kingdom for your amusement and amazement. A favorite with audiences in Israel, Croatia, India, Argentina, China, Singapore, and Ireland, Animals has won awards at festivals around the world.

Following its Kids Euro Festival 2015 appearance in Washington, D.C., Animals comes to San Juan, and will finish its U.S. tour at the Miami Book Fair International.
