Under the Subway Video Art Night 2021
Grab a blanket or a chair for this year’s edition of “Under the Subway Video Art Night” at St. Nicholas Park featuring over 30 video art projections curated by Spanish artist Antonio Ortuño.
From its first edition in 2011, Under the Subway Video Art Night (USVAN) has presented digital art videos of an experimental and performative nature, opening the door to distinct but interrelated disciplines and raising awareness that video art is live art.
Curated by Antonio Ortuño, the Spanish artists selected in this edition are Eugenio Merino, Marta Negre, Alfredo Gonzalez, Teresa Tomás, Jorge Sellés, Juan Carlos García-Sampedro and Fran Orallo.
Program
- 6 pm: presentation by Antonio Ortuño.
- 7 pm: screening.
