The Flame: Flamenco Infused Jazz

A series of Flamenco Fusion concerts curated and hosted by Rebeca Vallejo.

The Flame: Flamenco Infused Jazz concert series begins its spring season on April 18th at Cornelia Street Café with the amazing flamenco pianist from Andalucía: Juan Pérez Rodríguez. Juan’s music addresses the most rooted flamenco with the colors and shapes of the different music styles he has being discovering and learning in his journey as a musician.

The Flame: Flamenco Infused Jazz is a series of jazz flamenco concerts that showcases the work of Spanish musicians whose artistic vision, although strongly based in Jazz sounds and approaches, latches onto the roots of Flamenco. The fusion of Flamenco with the flavors of the old and new continents not only preserves this genre, but also helps to take it further into the future.
