The Art of Food
Blending the culinary and cinematographic arts in an interactive and tasteful way.
Movie lovers and foodies won’t want to miss the program The Art of Food. Utilizing the five senses, sensibility, and creativity, The Art of Food discovers and experiments with the relationship between cinema and cuisine.
The program proposes a delicious menu. Participants will watch and savor two of the latest gastronomical films, Sherry & the Mystery of Palo Cortado (José Luis López Linares, 2015), and Snacks: bocados de una revolución (Verónica Escuer and Cristina Jolonch, 2015).
The former will culminate in an evening cocktail demonstration and tasting for the guests. The latter will feature a discussion with some of the film’s internationally-renowned Spanish chefs. The menu is complemented by four additional movies and a talk by Chef Paco Roncero about the evolution of Spanish gastronomy. For the last course, the public can participate in wine, oil, and jamón ibérico tastings and workshops.
