Microtheater

On the occasion of Spanish Language Day at the United Nations and the International Book and Copyright Day, Instituto Cervantes New York presents four of the most outstanding Spanish playwrights in New York as microtheater text pieces.

This reading proposal brings us closer to the work of Mar Gómez Glez, Cristina Colmena, Borja Ortiz de Gondra and Carlos Contreras Elvira, giving us the possibility to get to know first-hand and in a casual way some of the different subgenres –drama, terror, postdrama and comedy– of a type of spectacle in reduced and increasingly popular format.
