La Noche From Spain celebrates and presents the culture and gastronomy from Spain to the American public.

Amster Yard at the Instituto Cervantes of New York opens its doors to host those who want to experience a little bit of Spain, a country with a strong cultural and natural patrimony. This is an opportunity to experience a unique Mediterranean way of life with a rich history.

Program

  • Concert by DJ Pastranak (jazz, reggae, samba & disco electronic music.)
  • Concert by Albert Marqués Band. Marqués, who has played with Leon Parker, Jacky Terrasson, Ahmad Jamal or Mullgrew Miller, is part of a Big Band of latin-jazz commissioned by Arturo O’Farrill (Grammy 2008). He has performed at Birdland, Fat Cat, Duc des Lombards, Jamboree, and several other festivals in the U.S. and Europe, such as the Jazz Montreal Festival.
  • Dance Trio.
  • Multimedia Visual Installation by Laia Cabrera & CO.
