KulturFestNYC: Circus Klezmer's Adrian Schvarzstein in The Bed and Blisham

Don’t miss clown, actor, circus and theatre director Adrian Schvarzstein, directly from Barcelona.

National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene presents KulturfestNYC, eight days and evenings jam-packed with great plays, concert, films, and lectures to inspire and entertain you.

Adrian Schvarzstein is a mix of Spanish, Argentinian, Italian… clown, actor, circus and theatre director, Adrian Schvarzstein is a very energetic entertainer-showman! In show business since 1989, he studied at the Commedia Dell’Arte in Italy. His clowning has taken him all over Europe where he created and collaborated with many street theatre groups, circus, opera, TV programs, etc. After many years with the Circus Ronaldo from Belgium, he created Circus Klezmer in 2004.

The Bed is about a very proud character who has no home except his travelling bed, with which he travels the world looking for a peaceful place to sleep. Wherever he arrives, he starts the illusory ritual of building a make-believe house, with the help of his audience.
