Pianist Isabel Pérez Dobarro at American Protégé Summer Gala Concert

American Protégé presents a gala concert at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium, celebrating ten years of artists from around the world performing in this East Coast international musical competition.
Spanish pianist Isabel Pérez Dobarro has been selected after a highly competitive process to take part at this commemorative event. This is the second time Isabel Pérez Dobarro plays at Carnegie Hall, after her Weill Recital Hall debut last year.
An active performer both in Europe and in the United States, the 24-year old pianist has been praised internationally for her performances of the Spanish and contemporary repertoires. She is currently completing her Ph.D at New York University, after earning a Master’s Degree and a Professional Studies Degree at New York University and Manhattan School of Music respectively, and a Bachelor’s Degree at Madrid’s Real Conservatorio Superior de Música, working with Marilyn Nonken, Alexander Kobrin, José Méndez and Solomon Mikowsky among others.
