Historias de Nueva York by María Lapachet

Under the common denominator of lesbian identity, “Historias de Nueva York” is a collection of stories that recreates a fragmentary portrait of lesbians in New York.

María Lapachet reads excerpts of her upcoming book, formed of 28 stories centered on an instant of the life of women whose daily lives run parallel and linked by a common affectivity.

With an agile, dynamic style, full of humor and love for the characters, Lapachet approaches topics such as love and loss, rejection and remembrance, the transition between affections or the denial of self from a sapphic look.

In Spanish with Q&A in English.
