Gastón García Marinozzi: Viaje al fin de la memoria

The author presents his new book “Journey to the end of Memory” with Esther Allen and Juan José Herrera de la Muela at Instituto Cervantes New York.

The novel brings to light the ability of the author to create fiction from a real story: the terrorist attack on the twin towers on September 11th. A Mexican journalist is sent from Mexico DF to New York to cover the tragedy. During the three-day road trip, the novel’s protagonist has an interior journey back to his childhood in Argentina and through his exile in Mexico, confronting doubts and questions we all face at some point.

During the event that will take place at Instituto Cervantes, Spanish Consul for Cultural Affairs Juan José Herrera, writer and professor Esther Allen and author Gastón García Marinozzi will discuss the genre of road novels, autobiographies and the limits between reality and fiction.
