From the page to the stage: A conversation with the creators of Life Lessons

Join Spanish playwright Eduardo Galán, American translator Iride Lamartine-Lens and Director Ángel Gil Orrios at Instituto Cervantes as they discuss their collaboration on the play currently showing at Thalia Spanish Theatre.

Spanish playwright Eduardo Galán, American Translator Iride Lamartine-Lens (co-editor of Estreno: Contemporary Spanish Plays Series) and the award-winning Spanish Director / Producer Angel Gil Orrios (Artistic Director of the Thalia Spanish Theatre of New York) will explore their collaboration from the page to the stage, the demands of translation in production, and the director’s staging concept working on the Bilingual World Premiere production of Life Lessons with two different casts in two languages, English and Spanish.
