48th Annual Meeting of the Association for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies

This meeting will discuss the Association’s historiographical developments in the field and new research, as well as explore the field’s future direction.

The Association for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies (ASPHS) was founded in 1969 to promote research in all aspects and epochs of Iberian history and related disciplines. ASPHS conducts annual meetings, provides a forum for scholars of Iberian Affairs, awards prizes for books, articles and dissertations, and publishes its Bulletin triannually.

Participants in this year’s conference must be members of the ASPHS. Graduate students presenting a paper for the first time at an ASPHS conference will receive a free membership for their first year, but must still register as new members.
