The 14th edition of Flamenco Festival Miami will run March 16-19, featuring some of Spain’s greatest flamenco singers, dancers, and musicians.

In this year’s edition, the different performances include dance shows from acclaimed dancers and a guitar recital that showcase some today’s best flamenco.

Irene Lozano: Las mujeres que habitan en mi

  • On Thursday, March 16 at 7:30 pm. Buy tickets.
  • From renowned dancer Irene “La Chiqui de Málaga” Lozano comes the new show Las mujeres que habitan en mi, a tribute to women and the possibilities that have influenced her life and art.

Sara Baras: Alma

Acclaimed dancer and choreographer Sara Baras returns to the Arsht Center with her newest show, Alma, as the centerpiece of Flamenco Festival Miami. In Alma, flamenco embraces the bolero, and the bolero is embraced by flamenco. Baras pays respect to flamenco’s techniques while fusing it with her own touch, footwork and captivating stage presence.

Rafael Riqueni

In his 2017 album, Parque de María Luisa, considered a masterpiece among critics, Riqueni treaded ancient paths of solo flamenco guitar. He continues the journey on his most recent album, 2020’s Herencia, which showcases the influence earlier maestros have had on his music. Herencia was nominated for the 2021 Latin Grammy Award for best flamenco album.
