Flamenco Festival Miami 2025

The 24th edition of “Flamenco Festival” celebrates the figure of Spanish poet Federico García Lorca with four performances in Miami.

The Flamenco Festival’s annual international events showcase today’s leading flamenco artists, ranging from internationally acclaimed performers and traditional icons to innovative young talents in dance, music, and song. This year, four performances in Miami feature various flamenco companies, paying tribute to Granada, where the passion for dance and music converges. This edition emphasizes the fusion of tradition and modernity in flamenco, reflecting the evolution of this art form over the decades.

Established in 2001, Flamenco Festival has evolved into the premier global platform for flamenco, captivating over 1.6 million people annually. Across 112 cities, it has featured 170 companies in 1350 performances, elevating flamenco to a vital part of prestigious theaters worldwide, including NY City Center, Carnegie Hall, London Sadler’s Wells, Arsht Center in Miami, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and more. This year, the event will bring together over 70 artists from 12 companies in 26 performances across New York, Miami, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Muerta de Amor with Manuel Liñán

  • On Wednesday, March 5 at 8 pm. Buy tickets.
  • At Knight Concert Hall, Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132.

In this new creation, Manuel Liñán seeks sustenance through emotion and flesh, a journey that invites us to discover the human need for connection, the closeness between bodies, what drives them, and its consequences. With 12 artists on stage, the performance guides us through this choreographic passage, with the essence of the copla, pointing to different atmospheres.

Yerbagüena (Ocuro Brillante) with Eva Yerbabuena

  • On Thursday, March 6 at 8 pm. Buy tickets.
  • At Knight Concert Hall, Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132

Eva Yerbabuena explores duality in her work Oscuro Brillante, where opposites like stillness and movement, light and darkness, intertwine. She shows how continuous transformation gives meaning to everything, challenging what she once considered fixed. Through four parts, she blends classic and avant-garde elements, as well as the artisanal and the technological, reflecting her belief in constant change.

Alter Ego with Patricia Guerrero and Alfonso Losa

  • On Sunday, March 9 at 8 pm. Buy tickets.
  • At Knight Concert Hall, Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132.

In Alter Ego, Patricia Guerrero and Alfonso Losa explore various aspects of themselves —distant, uninhibited, and exposed— guided by their true identities. The performance features two dancers revealing their inner worlds as they search for one another in unfamiliar territory. It is a journey filled with movement, surprises, and discovery. The duo is accompanied by cantaores Sandra Carrasco and Ismael “El Bola,” along with guitarist José Manuel Martínez “El Peli.”

La Plazuela with Roneo Funk Club

  • On Thursday, March 13 at 8 pm. Buy tickets.
  • At Miami Beach Bandshel, 7275 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33141.

El Indio (Manuel Hidalgo Sierra) and El Nitro (Luis Abril Martín) are redefining musical boundaries. Their energetic live performances have gained popularity, and songs like Tangos de Copera, El lao de la pena, and Péiname, Juana have resonated with the public, reflecting the growing interest in their genre-blending music.
