Vega in concert in Los Angeles

Indie alternative singer-songwriter Vega performes in L.A. before the releasing of her latest album, “la Reina Pez.”

Two-time Latin Grammy nominee Vega released her first studio album titled India in 2003. Her personality and quality as an author have made Vega (Córdoba, 1979) one of the leading artists of pop-rock in Spain. Her first single Shout from India put her on the top of the radio charts. With her second album, Circular, Vega received a nomination for Best Revelation Author at the Spanish Music Awards. Her following album Metamorfosis (2009) included the hit song Mejor Mañana which was used as jingle on several TV campaigns. La Cuenta Atrás, her penultimate studio album, was nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards in its XIII edition (2012) and Best Pop / Rock album.

In 2013 Vega created her own independent label, La Madriguera Records. On this label, Vega edited her latest work Wolverines which includes collaborations with artists such as Raphael, Arturo Sandoval and Budiño. Wolverines, recorded in L.A., was co-produced by Sebastian Krys and Vega. She will release her latest album, La Reina Pez, in April 2018.
