Technarte Art + Technology in L.A.
During two days, Technarte will transform Los Angeles into the epicenter of knowledge in the fusion between Art, Science and Technology.
In the Los Angeles edition, Technarte will present disciplines merging art, science and technology such as Nanoart by Alessandro Scali, one of the most influential artists in the world of Nanotechnology and Art. We will count on the Argentinian engineer and Bio artist Joaquin Fargas, who will talk us about the potential of the bio-technology applied to arts, while showing us many of his international projects exhibited throughout the worldwide.
We will also count on OPN Studio, an artistic pair formed by the Spanish artists Susana Ballesteros and Jano Montañez designing robotic art that creates reflected lights and sensors that interact directly with the visitor.
Belgian artist Frederik De Wilde will show how scientific concepts such as quantum noise or nuclear energy can become art. Among other artworks, Frederik has been working with 3D printed systems based on quantum noise. One of his most recent and acclaimed artwork is Blackest Black, a nano art project in collaboration with NASA that is an attempt to redefine traditional painting through developing the blackest black artworks in the world able to capture all light.
In the Los Angeles edition of Technarte, you’ll see first hand these and other international artists and engineers who use technology in all its creative processes.
