Spanish poet Verónica Aranda participates in the International Literature Festival along with authors from Latin American countries.

Casa Cultural de las Americas presents the International Literature Festival, a two-day event at the University of Houston, that attracts top-tier American and Latin American poets to Houston. The invited countries for 2017 are Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Sessions

  • On Thursday, November 2, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
  • On Friday, November 3, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

About Verónica Aranda

Verónica Aranda (Madrid, 1982) is a Spanish poet, translator and cultural manager with an international presence. She holds degrees from the University Complutense of Madrid and the Jawaharlal Nehru University of New Delhi. Aranda is author of various collections of poems and she has been awarded numerous poetry prizes, such as the Premio Internacional de poesía Miguel Hernández (2016) and the Premio de Poesía Ciudad de Salamanca (2017).
