Luis García Montero at the International Literature Festival in Houston

Poet Luis García Montero, winner of Spain’s National Poetry Prize, will make a stop in Houston to discuss his body of work.

Luis García Montero is among the authors participating in the International Literature Festival in Houston. Best-known for his poetry, he is also an essayist, fiction writer, journalist and Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Granada.

Luis García Montero has received numerous awards for his work, including Spain’s National Poetry Prize and National Critic’s Prize and the Poets of the Latin World Prize in Mexico.
