Shattered: Contemporary Sculpture in Glass

“Shattered” deconstructs preconceptions about glass art, shattering traditional boundaries for a deeper understanding of sculpture.

The depth and dimension of sculpture by artists working in glass has expanded greatly in recent years. A sculptural entity in its own right, contemporary glass work is marked by creative, conceptual and formal explorations in keeping with the dynamic spirit of the overall field of contemporary art.

Bringing together 25 artists from across the globe, including the Spanish duo Walter Martin & Paloma Muñoz, this exhibition breaks down preconceptions about glass art, shattering traditional boundaries in order to bring audiences to a deeper understanding of sculpture.
